We use the term integrated skills to refer to activities where students have to use more than one skill to complete a task. In real life we often use more than one skill to solve problems. Integrated activities are very important if we want them to be competent in English. Besides, learning is enhanced when teachers and learners use different skills. Research tells us that people use language skills in tandems, not in issolation (Hinkel, 2006).

In Module Two we will share how we help our learners develop the four skills through a task based approach

  • What is our context?
  • What do we want to teach?
  • What activities have we designed?
  • How do we assess them?

There are is one forum and you will have to provide one activity, and comment to at least two of your classmates' contributions . You have to follow the template provided below
