Short description: I set the following task: students have to plan a menu with some usual drinks and food (there must be a mininum of ten for each pair, there’s no limit). They have to plan de menu in pairs and upload it on the Moodle site.
Afterwards pairs will swap their menus in order to compare them, have a chance to add new food and drinks and explain and discuss new food items. Each group of four will draw up a final menu they will swap with other groups. They will upload their final menus on the Moodle site.
Objectives:
Using basic vocabulary referred to food and drink.
Assessment:
Following the example of Nuria's activity, pairs will give 25% off the marks to their partners' menu.
The menu will be assessed according to these criteria:
- The student is original in using vocabulary.
- The student uses a short range of vocabulary.

This is a very nice way to make vocabulary learning meaningful, Lluis Miquel!
I like the part where they they swap menus. I think making tasks as public as possible improves language learning and guides action. ----------------- Marisa
