\nThe only solution I have come up with is a combination of being coherence with rules and putting the ball in their court. I think that is what Obama is talking about in this video. Assessment programmes that promote students' productions can help a lot to make students responsible for their own learning, if combined with measures to motivate them.

\nAnother thing that helps me a lot is trying to make things as transparent and public as possible. This forces me to avoid situations where "cheating" seems the best solution.
